Why do we use external stylesheets instead of inline or embedded styles?
Answer: External stylesheets act as a template for web pages in that they contain the style elements rather than the content of the site. Since the layout is kept seperate, the formatting and style of the site can be changed without changing the HTML text.
What is the difference between SSH and FTP and why do we use each?
Answer: SSH software such as Putty and Terminal allow programmers to remotely connect to a computer as if they were using it in-person. FTP software such as WinSCP and Filezilla allow programmers to transfer files to the server of a site. For example, if you'd like a picture included on a site you can transfer it to the server through FTP. You will then need to give instruction through the server on how the site should find, include, and format that image for the site using HTML.
